iRecord has been written to operate on the familiar Microsoft Windows operating system. Included in the software is a huge number of manufacturers and camera models - more are added regularly. Both versions of the software allow the introduction of user defined cameras giving the maximum flexibility.
It is advised to use Windows XP or Vista and have the system hardware set to match the number of cameras and the activity you wish to record. For advice use our ticketing system in the helpdesk module.
Azimuth front end also operates on the Windows XP or Vista operating system, however, the database can work on virtually any hardware. For example on a large system we recommend a mySQL cluster operating on a Linux operating system with hardware tuned to the database requirements. We offer a full consultancy for assistance in system design.
 System designers are quite welcome to use the iRecord Velocity software in their own system design provided the Initsys logo is retained.
Azimuth can be utilised in OEM designs on application to Initsys.
