Velocity has one of the fastest codecs on the market, native processor algorithms means that the images are written to the hard disk faster and cleaner than most other image recording systems.

Velocity can be managed remotely and it has a full SSL based system status alerting module that can be subscribed to easily and quickly.

Many industrial CCTV systems are being converted to use internet type networks and require a ultra hi-reliability and easy to use CCTV camera recording solution. Azimuth fills that requirement in a unique way.
Azimuth uses the Binary Large Object (BLOB) recording method to store all images in hi definition in a secure database.
CCTV cameras that support MJPEG, MPEG4 and H264 are supported for image display, however, Azimuth records only in zero compression JPG format. This is a requirement where images could possibly be required in a court of law. Compressed digital images (MPEG4 and others) use a method of compression that can cause facets of recorded images to be missed depending on the state and operation of the recording hardware - see technical information.
Azimuth's user interface has been designed by a Boeing Aircraft MMI (Man Machine Interface) engineer and is extremely easy to use in both live and recorded modes.
Azimuth hardware can be as simple as a single PC or notebook, or as complicated as a Sun Microsystems cluster.
Azimuth is ideal where large numbers of cameras are concerned and is one of the lowest cost/image systems available in the market.
A high secure remote client allowing a central location to interrogate and manage large numbers of Azimuth installations is also available.
Azimuth is compatible with VerifiedAlarms network and Merlin.
